Anne Maertz

Anne Maertz is the chief administrative and communications officer for Hardwick-Day. This involves writing, editing, and design for print, web, and video; event planning and execution, internal and external communications, daily troubleshooting, and many special projects that add value for Hardwick-Day's clients.

Anne has 25 years of experience in fund development and communications, both as an employee and as a consultant. Her staff positions included grant writer for the University of St. Thomas, Director of Development for the School of Public Health at the University of Minnesota, and Communications Officer for Oxfam Great Britain. Her freelance clients included the American Refugee Committee, Catholic Charities, and the Minnesota Zoo. 

Anne earned an associate degree in Occupational Therapy from the College of St. Catherine School of Health, a BA in Liberal Arts from Metropolitan State University, and a Master’s in Public Policy from the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute at the University of Minnesota.
