Megan Thieme brings a strong background in statistics and computer programming to her work. As a data analyst, Megan works on financial aid optimization, conversion analysis, retention analysis, and special projects. Her main focus is account manager to financial aid optimization clients.

She works directly with clients to obtain and verify the data necessary for the analysis. Once the data is in hand, Megan creates all descriptive charts and prepares the presentations that Hardwick~Day reviews with clients during the on-campus delivery of the analysis.

Megan also creates the live simulation models used during the on-site visit to simulate various financial aid policies. She also keeps busy throughout the recruitment cycle monitoring the admit pool and incoming class.

Prior to joining Hardwick-Day in 2006, Megan worked with Hispanic high school students to help them prepare for college, focusing on building leadership skills and confidence as well as on the college application process. She also worked for a summer teaching and doing administrative work at the Centro Boliviano Americano in Cochabamba, Bolivia.

Megan earned her bachelor’s degree from Macalester College, where she double-majored in Mathematics and Hispanic Studies.
